Code of Conduct
The Bridge works because people keep their word. These are the rules everyone here agrees to — artists, DJs, producers, engineers, videographers, venues and promoters alike.
Version 2026-10-29
1. Respect
- No harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination — in messages, on pages, at sessions or at shows.
- No unwanted contact after someone has said no.
2. Honesty
- Only upload music you own or have the rights to. Human-made music only.
- No fake events, fake lineups or impersonation.
- Never list anyone on an event, a credit or a press kit who hasn’t agreed. On The Bridge, nobody appears on a lineup until they accept.
3. Deals
- Say clearly what you’ll deliver, and deliver it.
- Show up for sessions and shows, on time. If you can’t, say so early, through The Bridge.
- Keep deals and messages on The Bridge, where both sides are protected.
- On a collaboration, clearances and splits are between the artists — The Bridge never declares anything cleared.
4. Safety
- For in-person work, meet somewhere public or at the studio, tell someone where you’ll be, and leave if anything feels wrong.
- Report anything that feels wrong — every profile, event and venue page has a Report button.
- Never share your password. Don’t pay, or ask to be paid, outside a deal to get around its protections.
5. Judged on conduct, never on genre
We act on what people do, not on what their music is about. No genre, topic or style is against the rules. Violence, threats and predatory behaviour are.
6. Consequences
- Most problems start with a warning.
- Repeated or serious problems mean restrictions on the account, and the account may be paused while we look.
- The most serious mean removal.
- Every decision can be appealed, and every appeal is read by a person.
7. The rest
