How it works
Infrastructure for the independent.
An agreed price, money held safely, and proof the work happened.
Spins
Pay a DJ to play your track in their set. Your money is held until they prove they played it.
- Send an offer: how many plays, for how much.
- The DJ accepts, declines, or makes a counter-offer.
- They upload video of it playing. They’re paid the Friday after the week of the show.
Live crowd ratings
A QR code at the venue. The room scans it and rates your track while it is still playing — fire, good, -_- or not for me. No app, no account, no queue.
Live
DJs: one QR for the room. Guests request songs and leave a gratuity, no account — a request only holds their card, charged if you play it.
Rating QR
A QR for anything you made — a song, a beat, a set, a video. People scan it, tap fire, good, -_- or not for me, and see how the room feels. No account needed. One page a day is free, for up to 20 ratings.
Press kits
Build a page that makes you look professional: photos, thirty-second song previews, music videos and your show dates. Share the link, or export it as a PDF.
Beats
Producers list beats for sale. Artists buy one and get the licence immediately — no waiting, no email. The producer is paid the moment it sells. Exclusives are final sale, refunded only if the files were never delivered; the files are broken; the beat wasn’t the producer’s to sell. The buyer has 24 hours to report a problem.
Videographers
Hire someone to shoot a music video, a photoshoot or your live set. Prices are on the page — per service, and per setup, so you know the number before you ask.
Engineers
Get a track mixed, mastered or recorded. Hear their work first. Studio time is by the hour, mixing and mastering are per song. Anyone who engineers can switch on sessions from their profile.
Studios
Book a room by the hour — on its own, or with one of the engineers who works there. The room and the engineer are priced separately and paid separately. A home studio’s address is shared only once your booking is paid.
Book now
One button for every kind of session. Pick what you need, pick an hour off their real calendar, and nothing is charged until they say yes.
- Pick the service, the day and the time. The slot is held for you.
- They have 48 hours to accept, decline or send you a price.
- You pay when they accept, and you both get each other’s details then.
- The Bridge holds it until after the session. A deposit — one hour’s rate, or 25% of a flat fee — is theirs 12 hours before; confirm afterwards, or it confirms itself 24 hours later.
Find people
Browse DJs, producers, videographers, engineers, studios and artists by city and what they do. Open to everyone — you only need an account to get in touch.
More than one role
Make records and DJ? Produce and shoot? One account holds every role you do, and each one opens its own tools.
- Pick your main account type
- Tick “I also do…” at sign-up or in Edit profile
- Switch between them on your dashboard
Public calendars
Studios, engineers, videographers and venues can show when they’re open, if they choose to. White is open, red is booked or unavailable. Open times are a guide: every booking is still confirmed by them.
Key & BPM
Drop in a song and get its key and tempo — three readings of each, most likely first. The file is read on your own device and never uploaded. Beat and track uploads fill the fields in for you.
Player
Everything plays in one player at the bottom of the screen, and keeps playing as you move around. Tap it to change the tempo and pitch, scrub the track, or pick how it looks while it plays.
Cover maker
Release artwork made by thumb and exported at 3000 × 3000, the size every store asks for. Editing is free, and so is exporting through January 31, 2027; after that, exporting the finished file is paid.
- Start with a photo or from scratch. Tap anything on the cover to change it.
- Pick a face, a colour and a background, and give any piece its own effects. Spelling is checked as you go.
- Export at 3000 × 3000. Fixes stay free for fifteen minutes.
Flyer maker
Flyers for a release party, a show or a DJ night, on the cover maker's tools. One shape, 2400 × 3000: an Instagram post, or a 8 × 10 inch print. Priced like a cover export (free through January 31, 2027).
- Pick a template, then type in the event: date, venue, lineup, link.
- The words follow what you type, and the QR goes to your link.
- Export a PNG for your feed, or a PDF to print.
Events
Post a show and its lineup. Nobody appears on it until they accept, and the same show posted twice becomes one listing.
- Pick the venue, the time and who’s playing: @username for anyone on The Bridge.
- They’re asked first, and appear once they say yes.
- Point your flyer’s QR at the event page: tickets, the lineup and Going in one scan.
Your calendar
Bookings, shows, Live sets and your own plans in one place, in your time zone. Anyone else only sees “Busy”.
- It fills itself from everything you’ve agreed to.
- Add your own: practice, a shift, a residency, or simply unavailable.
- Subscribe from Apple or Google Calendar with a private link.
Fees & safety
- We take 10% of spins, Live song requests and Collaborate.
- We take 5% of sessions, shoots, venue bookings, event tickets, beat sales and paid requests.
- Never more than $10.00 on any one sale. A booking pays it once, even when it pays a studio and an engineer.
- Arrange a session off the platform and we charge nothing, because nothing ran through us.
- Gratuity goes to the DJ in full. We take nothing.
- Every checkout shows a service fee on its own line before you pay. It covers card processing, and the buyer pays it.
- Money is held until the work is done: a spin until its proof, a session until after it, a feature until its review.
- A restricted account can appeal from its dashboard, and a person reads every appeal.
- Your first 3 single press-kit downloads are free.
- Human-made music only. No AI-generated tracks.
Artist Spin Guide — make one spin pay off for months
Show up like it’s your record — because it is
When your track drops, be in the room. Not at the bar, not outside — on the floor, where the DJ can see the reaction land. Your energy is contagious and it's the difference between a track that politely plays and a track that moves.
Brief your people before the beat
Bring a crew and tell them the plan. When your song comes on, they go up. Hands, phones, noise. A DJ reads the floor in real time — give them a floor worth reading, and you become the artist they want back.
Capture everything
Footage is the whole game. Get the drop, get the crowd, get the DJ nodding. Horizontal and vertical. You are not filming a memory — you're filming next month's content, your pitch to the next DJ, and the proof that your music works in a real room.
Turn one night into leverage
A clip of a packed room reacting to your track is worth more than a thousand cold DMs. Post it. Tag the venue and the DJ. Use it to open the next deal at a better rate. One spin, captured right, becomes the reason the next ten happen.
One rule that isn't negotiable
Everything above only works because there's a real person behind the record. A DJ is putting their floor and their name behind your music, and a crowd is reacting to something they believe a human made.
The Bridge does not allow AI-generated music.
Uploading AI-generated content may result in track removal and account suspension.
What happens on a deal
So you know exactly what to expect from the moment a DJ says yes:
The DJ approves your offer
They've heard the track and agreed to your terms. The deal is on.
They confirm the venue and time
The DJ locks in where and when they'll play it. You get notified with the details — that's your cue to plan the night.
You show up
Be there. Bring your people. Capture it. (See above — that part is on you.)
The DJ submits video proof
After the set, the DJ uploads a clip of your record playing, right on the deal page.
The crowd weighs in
Fans scan a QR code in the room to rate the track live — independent proof the spin landed, straight from the floor.
Payment releases
You confirm the proof, and the held funds go to the DJ. Deal done, receipt in hand.
