Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect what it takes to run The Bridge, we never sell it, and other people see your contact details only after you both agree to work together.

Version 2026-10-30

1. What we collect

  • Your account: your email, your name or artist name, your account type, your city (market), and the password you choose (stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google.
  • Your profile and work: what you put on your page — photo, bio, genres, links, tracks, beats, press kits, covers and flyers, events.
  • What you do here: offers, bookings, messages, ratings, reports, and your calendar — so the app can show them to you and to the people you’re working with.
  • Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of each payment and payout, because the law and disputes require it.
  • Bug reports and ideas: what you write, and — only if you add them — a screenshot; with the page you sent it from and your device and browser, so the problem can be found.
  • Agreement: when you sign up we record the time and the versions of the Terms, this policy and the Code of Conduct you agreed to.
  • Technical basics: your IP address, briefly, to stop abuse (it’s turned into a one-way code for rate limits), and error reports when something breaks — never with your messages, payment details or passwords in them.

2. What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
  • We don’t run third-party analytics or ad trackers.
  • We don’t show your email or phone number to anyone until you both say yes to a deal or booking.
  • Other people never see what’s on your calendar. If your account takes bookings (DJs, engineers, videographers), The Bridge checks whether you’re “Busy” only while someone is booking you or adding you to an event, and only for the next 30 days — never the details, and never for anyone just browsing.

3. What’s public

  • Your profile page, your city (never your address), and whatever you publish: tracks, beats, press kits, events.
  • A venue’s address is public on its page, because people need to find it. An event’s address is public too; if it looks like a home, we ask the host to confirm before it goes up. A venue page someone else added shows no booking contact until the venue claims it.
  • The shows you accept a place on appear on the event page, your profile and your press kit.

4. Who helps us run it

These companies process data for us, only to run The Bridge:

  • Supabase — our database, sign-in and file storage.
  • Stripe — payments and payouts (Stripe’s own privacy policy covers what you give them).
  • Vercel — hosting the site.
  • Resend — sending email (sign-in links, receipts, notifications).
  • Upstash — counting requests to stop abuse.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it, and your choices

  • You can edit your profile any time, and delete your account from your settings.
  • When you delete your account, your page and your content come down. Payment and payout records are kept (with your details removed where we can) for as long as tax and anti-fraud rules require.
  • An offer, counter or request nobody answers for 30 days is deleted, with its messages; both sides are told first. Payment records are never deleted this way.
  • You can switch off each kind of notification in your settings.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data, or for something to be corrected or deleted, by writing to TO FILL: support email.

6. Age

The Bridge is for people 18 and over: sign-up asks you to confirm it. We refuse anyone under 13 outright, don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18, and remove any account we learn belongs to someone under 18. If you think a child has an account, tell us.

7. Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. Your browser also remembers a few small choices (like a dismissed tip or your player’s look) on your own device. No advertising cookies.

8. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies. The version date above changes whenever the text does. Questions: TO FILL: support email. See also the Terms of Service and the Code of Conduct.
